Key Responsibilities

• Good understanding of basic pharmacokinetic principles and their applied aspect to drug discovery.
• Experience of rodent handling including surgical techniques, dosing and sampling.

Experience in conducting in-vivo Pharmacokinetic study & tissue distribution.

Well versed with software like WinNonlin for PK parameters estimation, Graph Pad Prism and MS office.

Position – Scientist

Department – DMPK (Regulated Bioanalytical)

Qualification – M. Pharm (Pharmacology/ Pharmaceutical Analysis) / M.Sc. (Biochemistry/ Pharmaceutical Chemistry) with 5-8 years’ experience or Ph.D. with 2-5 years’ experience

Proficient in method development and validation as per regulatory guidelines using LC-MS/MS system

Expert in handling mass spectrometry of various makes such as Sciex, Waters, Thermo, etc. and performing bioanalysis of small molecules and peptides.

• Good communication skill and work with cross functional teams including external vendors.

Review and write SOP’s, bioanalytical study plan and reports.

Basic understanding of pharmacokinetics and related statistics.

Experience of handling regulatory audit like USFDA, ANVISA, MHRA, etc. for bioanalytical work would be added advantage.

• Support medicinal chemistry activities like compound library prioritization, compound designing & SAR development through application of different ligand and structure-based molecular modelling techniques.

Expertise in chemical information mining and operation of standard molecular

modelling software and tools. Proficiency with UNIX operating system, scripting and bioinformatics desired but not essential.

• Fundamental understanding of organic chemistry, structural biology & key drug discovery processes.
Understanding of systems and process pertaining to safety, health and environment.
